TechFlow, Seoul, September 9 — Last week, Taiko, the first Ethereum-based Rollup scaling solution, partnered with the K11 Art Foundation to present a unique collaboration at the exclusive Moon Party held at Grand Hyatt Seoul. This event showcased how blockchain technology can empower high-value real-world assets (RWA) within luxury cultural settings.
The invitation-only event brought together over 800 creative industry leaders and more than 200 ultra-high-net-worth guests. Attendees included South Korean actors Lee Min Ho and Park Bo Gum, renowned DJ Peggy Gou, and BTS member Jimin Park.
The event also welcomed luxury brand partners to witness the debut of the installation artwork Upward to the Moon by contemporary Chinese artist Huang Yulong.
At the event, Taiko offered limited physical collectibles valued at over $10,000 as rewards, including a limited-edition OFF-WHITE x Rimowa suitcase, a specially engraved Tom Sachs NASA J. Chair created exclusively for Moon Party, Don Julio Ultima Reserve tequila, and a Hypebeast exclusive hoodie.
Taiko's Chief Business Officer Ben Wan said: "This event proves that RWA is ready to enter mainstream luxury spaces. When blockchain technology seamlessly integrates with cultural experiences, top-tier celebrities, and luxury brands, we catch a glimpse of a more sophisticated technological future."
This collaboration united globally recognized luxury brands, further solidifying Taiko’s positioning in bringing RWA value on-chain. It also marks blockchain’s expansion beyond purely financial applications into broader realms such as culture, art, and luxury lifestyles.
