TechFlow reports on September 9 that, according to on-chain data analysis platform Lookonchain, a whale wallet address 0xa523 has incurred cumulative losses exceeding $40 million on the Hyperliquid platform over the past month.
Detailed transaction records show that the account previously sold 886,287 HYPE tokens at a loss (approximately $39.66 million), followed by losses exceeding $35 million on long positions in Ethereum and an additional $614,000 loss on short positions in Ethereum. Currently, the account continues to lose approximately $2.33 million on its long Bitcoin position.
