TechFlow news, September 9 — According to official information, the BTFS technical community is currently conducting final review of the BTIP-104 proposal. This proposal aims to add auto-renewal and manual renewal features to the network, allowing users to flexibly extend storage duration without re-uploading files: automatic renewal can be enabled via parameters during upload, or renewal can be manually triggered through CLI commands. This functionality will significantly enhance user experience and operational flexibility of BTFS storage services, further strengthening the long-term sustainability of the decentralized storage ecosystem. Participation in discussions via GitHub is welcome to jointly advance BTFS technological development.
