TechFlow news, September 8 — According to Decrypt, Joseph Chalom, Co-CEO of SharpLink Gaming, has proposed a bold theory suggesting that Bitcoin's anonymous creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, might reemerge when quantum computing poses an existential threat to Bitcoin. Experts predict quantum computing could break Bitcoin's encryption system within the next decade, prompting the community to discuss quantum-resistant measures, including hard forks and handling the approximately 1.1 million Bitcoins held by Satoshi (worth over $120 billion). Chalom speculates that Satoshi might speak through long-dormant accounts to protect personal interests, but would not necessarily reveal their true identity.
