TechFlow reports, on September 7, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin posted on X platform stating that the Ethereum team has been performing exceptionally well this year, contributing across various aspects to ensure Ethereum's long-term scalability, decentralization, and resilience. All these ideas are expected to be ready for implementation as key milestones in the short-term scaling roadmap are achieved.
According to the tweet, Ethereum developers have now proposed a minimal zkVM called "leanVM" suitable for lean Ethereum, optimized for XMSS aggregation and recursion. Compared to Cairo, leanVM minimizes commitment costs through a four-instruction ISA, multilinear STARKs, and logup lookups.
