Trump described Musk as a person of common sense who is only temporarily holding back, and believes Musk will eventually re-align with the Republican Party. He praised Musk's talent, saying he is "80% super genius," while acknowledging he has some issues to overcome. When asked whether he had contacted Musk, Trump avoided answering directly, but emphasized that he still likes Musk.
