TechFlow news — On September 3, according to Anoma's official blog, Anoma proposed that the innovation focus of the Web3 industry should shift from the infrastructure layer to the application layer. The article pointed out that blockchain infrastructure has made significant progress—from Bitcoin to Ethereum, and from Layer-2 networks to stablecoins—but excessive focus on infrastructure innovation may lead to diminishing marginal returns.
Anoma believes the current Web3 ecosystem faces issues such as fragmentation, limited interoperability, and poor user experience, resembling the stage before personal computers became widespread. To address these challenges, Anoma suggests building a unified application layer to integrate existing and future blockchain infrastructures, enabling developers to focus on application development while offering users a consistent experience.
