TechFlow, September 1 — According to an official announcement, Binance today announced the launch of Medá, an Electronic Payment Fund Institution (IFPE) authorized by Mexican regulators, with plans to invest over 1 billion pesos (approximately $53 million) over the next four years. Medá will operate as an independent entity, offering users peso deposit and withdrawal services, and aims to become a leading fintech service provider in Mexico. This marks another significant regulatory milestone for Binance globally, following authorizations in 22 jurisdictions including France, Italy, and Dubai.
