TechFlow, September 1 — According to Jinshi Data, Slovenia's central bank acting governor Primoz Dolenc told the newspaper Delo that the European Central Bank's rate-cutting cycle may have ended.
According to the report published on Monday, Dolenc said in the interview that during the most recent Governing Council meeting held in July, the general consensus was that the easing "cycle has ended, and we can take a breather."
Dolenc attended this meeting but did not have voting rights. He said, "From July until now, no new developments have emerged that would change this view. We can keep interest rates at their current level, as this ensures we will achieve our inflation target in the future."
