TechFlow news, September 1 — According to Techinasia, Japanese-listed company Metaplanet will hold a shareholders' meeting in Tokyo on September 1 to vote on a plan to issue up to 550 million new shares overseas, aiming to raise approximately $884 million. The company plans to use 95% of the funds to purchase more Bitcoin.
Eric Trump, son of U.S. President Trump and advisor to Metaplanet since March, is expected to attend the event.
