TechFlow news, August 31 — According to The Korea Times, South Korean retail investors have poured over $12 billion this year into U.S.-listed stocks related to cryptocurrency. Data shows that in August alone, South Korean investors invested $426 million, $226 million, and $183 million into shares of Bitmine, Circle Internet Group, and Coinbase, respectively. Notably, despite significant price declines in these stocks, South Korean investor demand remains strong. Analysts point to stablecoin legislation developments in both the U.S. and South Korea as providing a favorable backdrop for this investment surge.
