TechFlow, August 28 — According to Chainlink, U.S. GDP data will be made available on-chain via Chainlink. This data will be updated monthly or quarterly and will initially be accessible across ten blockchain ecosystems.
Chainlink stated that the first supported chains include: Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Botanix, Ethereum, Linea, Mantle, Optimism, Sonic, and ZKsync. Additional blockchain networks may be added later based on user demand.
Notably, the public blockchains for publishing GDP data listed by the U.S. Department of Commerce are: "Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, TRON, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, Stellar," which differ from the previous list.
Earlier report, the U.S. Secretary of Commerce yesterday announced the release of economic data such as GDP on blockchain.
