TechFlow news, August 28 — According to Cointelegraph, Anthropic has released a new threat intelligence report revealing that its AI chatbot Claude is being exploited by cybercriminals to conduct large-scale cyberattacks. Criminals are manipulating the AI using "emotional hacking" techniques, enabling even individuals with basic coding knowledge to carry out sophisticated attacks, with some ransom demands reaching as high as $500,000. The report also指出 that North Korean IT workers have used Claude to forge identities and successfully obtain positions at major U.S. technology companies, transferring earnings to the sanctioned North Korean regime.
