TechFlow, August 21 — According to Decrypt, the UK has imposed sanctions on eight entities and individuals, including four Kyrgyz companies, accusing them of helping Russia circumvent Western restrictions through cryptocurrency transactions. The sanctioned targets include the exchanges Meer and Grinex, linked to A7A5, a ruble-pegged stablecoin that transferred $9.3 billion within four months. On Thursday, Kyrgyz President Japarov appealed to US and UK leaders, stating that "economies should not be politicized."
