TechFlow news, August 21 — According to Decrypt, New York State Assemblymember Phil Steck said his proposed 0.2% cryptocurrency transaction tax will not provide exemptions for stablecoin transactions. The proposal is expected to generate approximately $158 million in annual revenue for New York State, which will be used to support drug abuse prevention programs in schools across upstate New York.
