TechFlow, August 19 — According to Eleanor Terrett's disclosure, Wyoming has launched the Frontier stablecoin (FRNT), becoming the first U.S. state to issue a state-level stablecoin. Backed by U.S. dollars and short-term Treasury securities, FRNT has already been deployed across seven blockchain networks: Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Polygon, Optimism, and Base.
Due to existing regulatory barriers, FRNT is not yet available to the public. The Executive Director of the Wyoming Stable Token Commission will provide further details on the project in the near future.
