This innovative proposal introduces automatic and manual file storage renewal features. With BTIP-104, users can enable automatic renewal by setting upload parameters or use CLI commands to manually extend file storage duration without re-uploading files. This upgrade will significantly enhance user experience, effectively reduce network bandwidth consumption, and provide a reliable solution for long-term file storage needs. The proposal is currently in the conceptual stage, and community members are invited to participate in discussions via GitHub to jointly refine this important feature.
