TechFlow, on August 6, Base announced on social media early yesterday morning that it had experienced a 33-minute network outage, during which block production was suspended.
Base stated that the outage occurred due to an automatic failover within its high-availability cluster to a primary sequencer that was operating abnormally. The Base team quickly responded by switching to a healthy primary sequencer, after which Base chain resumed normal operations. The team has now completed a comprehensive post-mortem analysis and will share details of the incident, solutions implemented, and specific measures to prevent similar events in the future.
