TechFlow news, August 4 — According to CoinDesk, decentralized finance platform Centrifuge announced the appointment of Jürgen Blumberg, former head of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) at Goldman Sachs, as Chief Operating Officer, as well as Chief Investment Officer at its affiliated entity Anemoy. Blumberg brings over 20 years of capital markets experience from institutions including Goldman Sachs, Invesco, and BlackRock.
Centrifuge is currently focused on tokenizing investment products, with over $760 million in total value locked on its platform, including a $400 million tokenized U.S. Treasury fund issued in collaboration with Anemoy. The platform has recently expanded its product offerings by launching a blockchain-based version of the S&P 500 index and partnering with asset management firm Janus Henderson to issue a tokenized credit loan obligation fund.
