TechFlow, on August 4, according to France's Le Monde, the French right-wing party "National Rally" (Rassemblement National) plans to introduce a bill proposing the use of surplus electricity from nuclear power plants for Bitcoin mining.
Party member Aurélien Lopez-Liguori has already begun drafting the legislation in July. The proposal aims to deploy high-performance computers at nuclear power stations operated by French energy giant EDF, participating in blockchain network operations through complex computations and earning newly minted Bitcoin in return.
