TechFlow, on August 4, according to Jinshi Data, U.S. President Trump stated he will announce in the coming days a candidate to fill the vacant Federal Reserve Board seat, and will name a new head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics within the next three to four days.
Note: Federal Reserve Governor Kugler announced she will resign on August 8. In a letter to Trump, the 55-year-old Kugler did not specify the reason for her resignation, only stating she will return to Georgetown University as a professor in the fall. She did not attend last week's Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting, with officials citing personal matters for her absence.
