On July 28, this trader opened a short position of 20,000 ETH at 3,843 USD, achieving a floating profit of 7.5 million USD so far. Early today, the trader added another 20,000 ETH short at 3,535 USD.
The whale's current position is now: shorting 40,000 ETH with 15x leverage, valued at 140 million USD, with an average entry price of 3,689 USD and a liquidation price of 3,717 USD. Notably, this trader previously shorted 50,000 ETH in June but ultimately closed the position near cost basis in early July during ETH's price rise, incurring a loss of approximately 710,000 USD.
