TechFlow news, July 31 — According to Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has released standardized listing criteria for cryptocurrency ETPs through its latest exchange filings. Under the criteria, cryptocurrencies with more than six months of futures trading history on Coinbase Derivatives Exchange will be eligible for inclusion in ETPs. Currently, around a dozen digital assets meet this requirement, aligning with major cryptocurrencies previously expected to have over 85% approval likelihood. Regarding specific approval timing, Balchunas indicated it could happen in September or October of this year.
