TechFlow, July 30 — According to The Block, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) formally declared during a court hearing that it will no longer investigate Dragonfly regarding its early investment in the cryptocurrency mixer "Tornado Cash." Dragonfly co-founder Haseeb Qureshi confirmed that previous media reports suggesting the DOJ planned to sue Dragonfly were inaccurate, and neither the firm nor its management are under investigation. Previously, the DOJ had indicated last Friday it was considering legal action over Dragonfly's 2020 investment in Tornado Cash. As of now, Tornado Cash co-founder Roman Storm still faces charges related to conspiracy and sanctions violations.
