TechFlow, July 29 — According to Bitcoin.com, the United Arab Emirates' Rakbank has partnered with digital asset infrastructure provider Bitpanda to launch a cryptocurrency brokerage service through its mobile app. The bank becomes the first traditional bank in the UAE to offer cryptocurrency trading services to retail customers.
Users can buy, sell, and exchange cryptocurrencies directly using dirhams from their Rakbank current or savings accounts, with no foreign currency transfer fees. The service is currently available only to select customers and will gradually expand to more users over the coming months.
