TechFlow news, on July 25, according to the Korea Economic Television, KB Kookmin Bank of South Korea filed applications with the Korean Intellectual Property Office on July 22 for 27 trademarks related to dollar and yen stablecoins, totaling 49 trademark rights. These trademarks include combinations such as "KBUSD", "JPYKB", "USDST", covering two major categories: electronic financial trading platform software and stablecoin financial trading services. Previously, the bank had already applied for trademarks related to the Korean won stablecoin, and this move is seen as a strategic layout to secure trademark rights in the foreign currency stablecoin sector.
