TechFlow, July 21 — According to TradingView data, Bitcoin's market dominance has continued to decline, currently at 60.86%, the lowest level since March 3 this year.
Coinmarketcap data shows the Altcoin Season Index is currently at 57, up by 25 points from last week’s average, representing an increase of approximately 78%. The index indicates that over the past 90 days, around 57 out of the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap have outperformed Bitcoin.
The CMC Altcoin Season Index is a real-time metric used to determine whether the current cryptocurrency market is in a period dominated by altcoins. The index is based on the performance of the top 100 altcoins relative to Bitcoin over the past 90 days.
