TechFlow, July 21 — According to Bitwise's Q2 2025 Corporate Bitcoin Holdings Report, publicly traded companies now hold a total of 847,000 bitcoins, up 23.13% quarter-over-quarter, representing 4.03% of bitcoin’s total supply. The total value of these holdings reached $91 billion, an increase of 60.93% from the previous quarter, with an average purchase price of $107,754 per bitcoin. The number of public companies holding bitcoin has reached 125, up 58.23% quarter-over-quarter, with 46 new companies purchasing bitcoin this quarter.
Strategy leads in holdings with 597,325 bitcoins, adding over 69,000 bitcoins in Q2 and realizing $14 billion in unrealized gains. During the quarter, corporations collectively purchased 159,107 bitcoins, including newcomer Twenty One, which raised $685 million and acquired over $450 million worth of bitcoin.
