TechFlow news, July 16 — According to an official announcement, PayPal updated its cryptocurrency terms of service on July 16, 2025. The most significant change is that PYUSD stablecoin will now extend support to the Arbitrum blockchain network. Under the new terms, PYUSD is now operational across three major blockchains: Ethereum, Solana, and Arbitrum, allowing users to send and receive PYUSD on any of these networks.
Issued by Paxos, this stablecoin is pegged at 1 USD and fully backed by U.S. dollar deposits, U.S. Treasury securities, and U.S. Treasury repurchase agreements. PayPal has also launched a PYUSD rewards program, enabling eligible users to earn returns based on their holdings.
