TechFlow news, July 15 — According to Kyle Reidhead, co-founder of Milk Road, over the past 30 days, 10 Ethereum investment firms have collectively purchased more than 550,000 ETH, worth approximately $1.65 billion, and the buying pace is accelerating.
Among them, SharpLinkGaming acquired over 75,000 ETH (around $225 million) within the last five days. New ETH-focused investment firms are launching weekly, and the scale of purchases is expected to continue expanding in the coming months.
Reidhead noted that these firms differ from ETFs—they currently only buy and do not sell—and deposit the acquired ETH (representing 0.5% of circulating supply) into Ethereum DeFi smart contracts for staking or lending. This trend could lead to tightening ETH supply in the coming months, significantly impacting the market.
