TechFlow News, July 13 — According to a post shared by SlowMist Chief Information Security Officer 23pds from X user @Miles082510, developer @web3_cryptoguy allegedly posed as a Web3 tool author and provided scripts that appear to scan local sensitive files in the background, attempting to steal critical data such as private keys, wallet files, configuration files, source code, and recovery phrases. This data is secretly uploaded to an anonymous server, with users hardly noticing the process. Users are advised to avoid using untrusted script tools.
