TechFlow, July 11 — According to CryptoInAmerica, the U.S. House of Representatives plans to vote on three major cryptocurrency bills during "Crypto Week," including the GENIUS Act, the CLARITY Act, and the Anti-CBDC Surveillance Nation Act. The CLARITY Act has recently sparked controversy, with the DeFi community accusing the CME Group of attempting to amend the bill's provisions to protect its dominance in the futures market and restrict the development of decentralized trading protocols.
Following active lobbying by organizations such as the DeFi Education Fund, lawmakers have reinstated key provisions protecting decentralized developers. Meanwhile, the Senate will release its market structure discussion draft and hold hearings focused on federal regulation of digital commodities.
