TechFlow news, July 10 — According to Decrypt, Truth Social, the social media platform founded by former U.S. President Trump, announced plans to launch a utility token as part of its new loyalty rewards program tied to its "Patriot Package" subscription service.
Under the announcement, subscribers to the "Patriot Package" will accumulate "gems" on their Truth Social accounts based on their level of platform engagement, with these gems eventually linked to utility tokens on the Truth Social and Truth+ platforms. The subscription service is currently in public beta, priced at $9.99 per month, offering access to 12 "high-quality, non-woke news channels," expanded video-on-demand content, and platform verification badges.
