TechFlow news, on July 8, according to Jinshi Data, Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba stated that the information released by the United States regarding tariffs on Japan and other countries is regrettable. Additionally, Ishiba instructed officials to continue negotiations with the U.S. on tariffs. The Japanese government will hold a headquarters meeting for comprehensive measures at the Prime Minister's Office to respond to U.S. President Trump's announcement of imposing 25% tariffs on Japanese imports. Ishiba will also attend the meeting and is expected to direct relevant cabinet members to continue negotiating for the removal of tariffs.
