TechFlow news, July 5 — According to crypto analyst Willy Woo, when long-dormant bitcoins begin to move, the market appears to assign a higher valuation to Bitcoin over the long term. Willy Woo stated that yesterday approximately 80,000 "ancient" bitcoins were transferred to new wallet addresses, pushing the bottom price in Bitcoin's CVDD model from $35,000 to $37,000.
CVDD (Cumulative Value Days Destroyed) is an on-chain metric used to assess Bitcoin's value. When bitcoins move from an old investor who bought at $1 to a new investor purchasing at $100,000, the new investor values these bitcoins at a significantly higher base price, helping raise the globally perceived floor value of the entire Bitcoin supply.
