TechFlow, July 4 — According to TechCrunch, Meta is testing new AI chatbots across Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger that can proactively send follow-up messages to users within 14 days after the initial conversation. This feature is available only to users who have sent at least five messages to the bot, and users can choose to keep these interactions private or share them via their profile, stories, or direct links.
Developed through Meta's AI Studio platform, these customizable chatbots aim to continue discussions on topics of user interest. The company projects its generative AI products will generate between $2 billion and $3 billion in revenue by 2025, reaching $1.4 trillion by 2035.
