TechFlow news, on July 3, according to analyst Yujin, an investor known as "insider brother" suffered significant losses while shorting Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). The investor's $250 million short position underwent eight consecutive liquidations, leaving only $43.68 million remaining.
In this trade, the investor initially posted $16.28 million in margin, but now has only $1.2 million left, representing a loss of $15.08 million. Nevertheless, the investor previously earned $26 million through three addresses, maintaining an overall profit of $10.92 million.
Currently, the investor's remaining positions include:
- Shorting 237 BTC with 40x leverage, worth $25.82 million, opened at $106,697, with a liquidation price at $111,040
- Shorting 6,948 ETH with 25x leverage, worth $17.86 million, opened at $2,452, with a liquidation price at $2,646
