TechFlow news, on July 2, according to Cointelegraph, Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs has vetoed HB2324, a bill proposed by the state legislature that would establish a digital asset reserve fund. Governor Hobbs stated that the bill would hinder cooperation between local law enforcement and the state government regarding the seizure of digital assets, as it would remove seized assets from local jurisdictions.
Earlier, Arizona had passed the "Bitcoin reserve" bill HB2324. The bill would create a reserve for assets obtained through criminal asset forfeiture. If signed by Governor Hobbs, it would become the second reserve bill passed by the state.
