TechFlow news, July 1 — According to Bloomberg, Hut 8, a Bitcoin mining company linked to the Trump family, plans to establish an office in Dubai. The company completed its registration at the Dubai International Financial Centre last week and confirmed it is assembling a team focused on cryptocurrency trading and asset reserve strategies.
Headquartered in Miami, Hut 8 currently operates Bitcoin mining activities in Texas and New York in the United States, as well as in Alberta, Canada. The choice of Dubai as its new hub primarily reflects the region’s favorable tax and regulatory environment for the cryptocurrency industry.
