TechFlow, June 30 — According to Coindesk, Benchmark has initiated coverage on Metaplanet with an "Outperform" rating and a 12-month price target of JPY 2,400 (current Metaplanet share price: JPY 1,650), analyst Mark Palmer said. He stated that Metaplanet's "mega accumulation" strategy aims to hold 210,000 bitcoins by 2027—representing 1% of the total supply—is supported by a unique volatility-driven funding program, and its valuation is justified given its explosive BTC growth.
