TechFlow, June 27 — According to Decrypt, Web3+AI project Inference Labs has raised $6.3 million to build a cryptographic trust layer for AI agents and off-chain computing. The funding round was backed by DACM, Delphi Ventures, Arche Capital, Lvna Capital, and the Echo Syndicate community round led by Native Capital.
Inference Labs is developing "Proof of Inference," a zero-knowledge cryptographic protocol that enables AI models to scale beyond limits using decentralized off-chain resources while proving the reliability of their outputs. This protocol addresses the AI trust challenge by allowing model operators to keep their intellectual property private while offering verifiable services.
