Hong Kong Cyberport launches blockchain and digital asset pilot funding program, with grants up to HK$500,000
According to the official website of Cyberport Hong Kong, Cyberport has launched the "Blockchain and Digital Assets Pilot Funding Scheme" to promote the development and testing of blockchain and Web3.0 applications. The application period will run from June 18, 2025, to August 1, 2025. Each eligible company may apply for up to three pilot projects, with funding covering up to 80% of total project expenses, capped at HK$500,000 per project. Supported areas include decentralized infrastructure, Web3.0 technologies, ESG and green applications, security, and risk management. Applicants must be registered and operational in Hong Kong, and their projects should demonstrate commercial potential and address specific industry challenges in Hong Kong. Funding will be disbursed in two tranches: 60% upon approval and 40% upon completion. Projects must be completed by November 16, 2025.
