TechFlow, June 26 — According to the official website of Hong Kong Cyberport, Cyberport has launched the "Blockchain and Digital Assets Pilot Funding Program" to promote the development and testing of blockchain and Web3.0 applications. Applications will be accepted from June 18 to August 1, 2025. Each eligible company may apply for up to three pilot projects, with funding covering up to 80% of total project expenses, capped at HK$500,000 per project.
Funding areas include decentralized infrastructure, Web3.0 technologies, ESG and green applications, security, and risk management. Applicants must be registered and operational in Hong Kong, and their projects should demonstrate commercial potential and address specific industry challenges in Hong Kong. Funding will be disbursed in two tranches—60% upfront and 40% upon completion. Projects must be completed by November 16, 2025.
