TechFlow news, June 26 — According to Reuters, the European Commission will issue guidance clarifying that stablecoins issued by companies holding EU licenses can be interchangeable with similar tokens issued by their non-EU entities. The rules will be implemented under the MiCA framework. This move responds to inquiries from French regulators regarding token homogeneity. Issuers launching interchangeable tokens both within and outside the EU may be required to establish rebalancing mechanisms to ensure that reserves in the EU match the number of tokens circulating within the region.
