TechFlow, June 25 — According to Cointelegraph, the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) has reached a redemption plan agreement with Ethena GmbH for USDe stablecoin holders, ending a four-month regulatory dispute. Under the agreement, USDe holders will have 42 days (until August 6) to directly submit redemption claims to Ethena GmbH, with the entire process supervised by a special representative appointed by BaFin. After this period, Ethena GmbH will be formally liquidated in Germany, the European Union, and the European Economic Area, and any subsequent redemption requests must be processed through its offshore subsidiary, Ethena (BVI) Ltd. Previously, BaFin accused Ethena of violating the EU's MiCA regulations and prohibited it from publicly issuing the USDe stablecoin.
