TechFlow news, on June 24, the Sui Foundation announced the official launch of the Athens SuiHub Innovation Center, further accelerating Sui's global adoption. As a creative space integrating learning, sharing, and building, developers and users can access Sui's global infrastructure through the Athens SuiHub Innovation Center, receiving hands-on training, cross-industry collaboration opportunities, and community support. The center aims to attract emerging talent, support high-growth startups, integrate Greece's rich cultural heritage with its rising digital economy, inject tangible momentum into Greece's technology and innovation ecosystem, drive local startup prosperity, guide investment back to the city center, and build a pathway for Greek talent to go global.
In the future, the Athens SuiHub Innovation Center will also regularly host workshops, developer open days, and small gatherings to help European developers better leverage Sui's unique architecture to build more innovative products.
Previously, Sui launched a "Blockchain and Business Innovation" course for high school students in Greece. Subsequently, the Athens Exchange Group (ATHEX) announced the completion of technical and business design for upgrading its EBB (Electronic Book Building) platform based on Sui, marking the world's first official collaboration between a national exchange and an L1 blockchain. Additionally, two co-founders of Sui, Kostas Chalkias and George Danezis, are Greek, and today over 85% of Sui's global solutions engineering team is based in Greece, actively participating in more than 40 global projects.
