TechFlow, June 20 — According to official information, the LayerZero Foundation officially launched the second community referendum on fee activation on June 20, 2025. ZRO token holders can vote on any chain: selecting "Yes" will activate protocol fees for the LayerZero protocol, while selecting "No" will keep the protocol fees deactivated. If the referendum passes, a protocol fee will be charged for each LayerZero message, and the collected fees will be used to repurchase specific assets. This voting session will end on June 27.
