TechFlow news, June 19 — ConsenSys founder Joseph Lubin stated that Ethereum Layer 1 will become the primary ledger. Lubin noted that Ethereum Layer 1 possesses several key features: it allows anyone to inspect, use, and add data or functionality without permission; maintains trustless neutrality; is resistant to censorship; achieves tamper resistance and visible tampering through penalty mechanisms and transparency; and continuously advances decentralization.
Lubin emphasized that Ethereum has a top-tier, large-scale community that remains highly vigilant, as there will always be patient and well-resourced participants attempting to undermine the system. However, as Ethereum grows and matures, such attacks will become increasingly difficult.
