TechFlow news, June 19 — According to Bloomberg, the Czech government led by Prime Minister Petr Fiala has retained power after surviving a no-confidence vote initiated by opposition parties. The vote stemmed from a scandal involving $45 million in bitcoin donated to the state by a convicted drug trafficker. On Wednesday, the opposition's motion to dismiss the cabinet received only 94 votes in favor, falling short of the majority required in the 200-seat lower house of parliament. This outcome allows Fiala's government to remain in office until the parliamentary elections scheduled for October this year.
