TechFlow news, June 18 — According to Jinshi Data, U.S. President Trump revealed today that Iran has made contact with the United States. He stated that Iran is facing numerous difficulties and wants to negotiate. They should have started negotiations earlier. However, he questioned why Iran did not initiate talks sooner if they truly desired them. Trump said that although Iran has now reached out, it is too late—there is a significant difference compared to just one week ago. Iran has no defensive capabilities whatsoever. Trump added that his previous demand for Iran's unconditional surrender indicates he can no longer tolerate the situation, and his patience with Iran has run out. Regarding a potential military strike against Iran, he said the U.S. might take action, or it might not. When asked whether he had issued an ultimatum to Iran, Trump responded, "You could say that." He reiterated that Iran must not possess nuclear weapons. Trump also mentioned that he stays in touch with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu every day, and while he told Netanyahu to "go ahead," he has not yet informed Israel that the U.S. will provide additional assistance.
