TechFlow, June 18 — According to Cointelegraph, NFT project Pudgy Penguins is developing a skill-based competitive game called Pengu Clash on the TON blockchain. The game adopts a "play-to-win" model, allowing players to earn rewards through gaming skills rather than speculation.
Luca Netz, CEO of Pudgy Penguins, said this is a skill-based game where players bet against each other, as opposed to earning tradable tokens provided by the game under the traditional "play-to-earn" model. The decision to build on the TON blockchain was driven by Telegram's large and unique user base, particularly users from regions such as Northern Europe.
